McCoy Borja - Red Soldier

McCoy Borja founded/created the site and has been bass fishing since the mid 90's. He is from the Southern California coast where he honed his skills at famed big fish locations like Castaic lake, the California delta and Clear Lake. McCoy excels in finesse fishing tactics, like skipping docks and his ''money maker'' the dropshot, though he always prefers to throw power baits and loves the topwater frog. He began tournament fishing in a club out west and fished as a co-angler on the western Stren series. After making the Stren series championship on Lake Wheeler in AL in 2006, McCoy moved to Knoxville, TN to pursue their outdoor passions and McCoy started fishing the boater side of the BFL Volunteer division where he qualified 3 out of the 4years for the regional championships and almost made the All American finishing in 7th place and missing the top 6 cut by 3 ounces.
